If any of you have a mini acer laptop with a built in webcam, what program does the webcam run on to take pictures and record video? I can't find anything that is obviously a webcam driver on the computer, and someone from topicmore told me that they do come with preloaded software for the webcam.

of course they would.

For this current semester I'm taking two online classes ( I didn't register in time to get the real classes...) , sociology and western philosophy. As part of the class we have to post on this school message board type thing to discuss the material. The instructor said that she likes it when we start arguments on the boards because it shows that we're debating, but all I could think was "lol, flame wars". Its going to to take a lot of restraint on my part to not reply to dumb comments with cat macros, pokemon, and sparkle text.

My new camera should be here tomorrow, or Friday. I'm so excited.
I hope it's here tomorrow so I can get some decent shots for this project, since most of the filmspeed photos came out terrible ( My camera broke during their set, and I need to turn in 30 photos to turn in) and only like 12 came out ok.

At the urging of like 3 people I recently started watching the Korean Version of Hana Yori Dango, called Boys Before Flowers, and all I can think about is how one of the actors (Kim Joon) looks like an azn version of Alex Marshall.

If I can't find someone to go with me to the Bamboozle Left by tonight I'm going to have to sell my ticket for both days.

I just got around to scanning these!
I made these prints for my Visual Communications final project( from late May of this year) but they did not make it into the project, although they are still some of my favorites from that class.

These were all printed between March and May of this year. The majority of the film used here was shot and developed in February. Everything in this process was manual. I used Ilford HP5 plus 400 ISO, 35 mm black and white film.

I can't wait to get back in the darkroom in February, when I start my first college courses on photography.
